Family session

At this point, I have no desire to turn my photography into a business.  For now, it is something that I enjoy learning about and practicing.  In a matter of one week, I had 3 people book sessions with me and also had a stranger ask to use a photo I'd taken of her at a recent roller derby bout for her website.  Other people's confidence in me makes it so much easier to believe in myself.  I'm beyond blessed to have so many friends/friends who trust me and are willing to let me practice on them!

This past weekend, I had the honor of taking some family photos for a friend.  It was my 1st time working with an infant and while it was DEFINITELY a challenge, it was also a blast!  I must say though that I could NOT have done this without the help of my husband.  He spent the entire hour standing behind me snapping his fingers to get baby E's attention!  I need to invest in some bells or something for future sessions with babies!

Here are a few of my favorites!

LOVE those teeth!

and that tongue!

I wish I had a photo like this of me and my parents

so much love on dad's face!

Tomorrow I'm taking some photos of a couple of brothers at the TRAIN STATION {the stupid rain forced us to get creative}!  It's going to be another challenge for me but I'm super excited about the idea!
